Yes. We take on rebuilds and renovations in Altadena and Pasadena, including design, permitting and construction.

A kitchen or bath remodel usually takes 4 to 8 weeks. An ADU typically takes 3 to 6 months including permits. A custom home typically takes 9 to 12 months. We give a written schedule with every proposal.

Cost depends on size, finishes and site conditions. As a starting range, an ADU typically runs $250 to $400 dollars per square foot. We give a detailed written estimate after a site visit.

We are design-focused. We help turn creative ideas into buildable plans, then carry them through construction with the same team, so the finished space matches the design.

Check the CSLB license and its classification, ask for proof of general liability and workers' compensation insurance, ask who runs the permit process, and ask to see completed projects of the same type and size. Get the schedule and payment terms in writing before work starts.

Yes. We handle hillside and sloped-lot construction in Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz and the Hollywood Hills, including retaining walls, caissons and grading, which carry extra LADBS review.

Plan check at LADBS commonly takes 1 to 3 months for an addition or ADU, longer for hillside or coastal lots. We prepare and submit the drawings and manage corrections. We also obtain Express Permit for remodels and renovation.

Class B is General Building, covering homes and buildings. Class A is General Engineering, covering structural and site work such as retaining walls, grading and foundations. SHPE holds both, so one team can handle structural site work and the building itself.
